Abbie Lammas is a 'prodigiously talented singer-songwriter' who has been in hull’s music scene since the age of 14.

'She's no stranger to hitting the road and taking to stages across East Yorkshire; she regularly plays gigs in the area understandably plugging her stunning music all she can'. As for her spine-tingling voice, it has to be heard to be believed. As well as conjuring up some wonderfully memorable melodies, she is also keen on writing interesting lyrics a fact which makes her songs even more of a joy to listen to.

On the 31st May 2012 Abbie has secured a spot at the “Discovery Talent” Showcase night demonstrated as “Hulls Greatest”, as well as taking part in the “Cottingham Springboard Musical Festival between the 1-4 June 2012, Head lining and as a solo artist. Having previously played “The Freedom Festival” in Hull last year a live event in front of an audience of at least 20,000, alongside “Chipmunk”, “The King Blues” and “Florence and the Machine”

Suffice to say, Abbie's music deserves to be heard, and the best way to hear it is either by buying a copy of her music, or by checking out her Facebook page. Recently, she has been working with a backing band, her new single which she released last summer as limited edition and went out of stock within a month. She is currently working on her new album which will be released in the upcoming Summer. The band and herself will be touring around the country and selling the upcoming singles that will be released prior to the album.

Abbie’s genre is very dynamic with it being classed as Acoustic / Pop / Rock music, her influences range from Kurt Cobain to Bob Dylan to Ludavico Einaudi.
She has been compared to the likes of Eva Cassidy, Alanis Morissette and Rita Lynch; with her stage presence distinctive like Siouxsie Sioux and the Sex Pistols.
